How to Facilitate and Host a Climate Cafe: An Online, Experiential Training

Tickets: $30 for CPA-NA members, $35 for non-members

This workshop will support participants in developing the confidence to facilitate their own climate cafe.

The workshop will include:

  • An explication of the psycho-social principles on which climate cafes are based

  • A short experiential climate cafe

  • Suggestions of a toolkit of practical resources

  • A discussion of practical aspects of organizing and facilitating.

Facilitators:

Elizabeth Allured, Psy.D. is faculty at the Postgraduate Program in Psychoanalysis at the Derner Institute, Adelphi University, and is also Co-President of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America.

Wendy Greenspun, Ph.D. is faculty and supervisor at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis and the Postgraduate Program in Marriage and Couple Therapy at the Derner Institute, Adelphi University. She is also on the steering committee and board of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America.
