Register here

In the wake of the covid pandemic, teachers have seen a startling increase in depression, anxiety and eating disorders among students. These behaviors, when coupled with the growth in Eco-anxiety, are presenting school communities with unprecedented challenges.

How do we cope? How do we talk to our students, our children and each other? This panel discussion will focus on how to take care of ourselves, and to help colleagues, students, and parents manage climate anxiety.

Organizers: NYC Sustainability Educators Network representatives: Kim Chaloner, Grace Church School; Ken Higgins, The Town School; Hannah Stebbins, The Brearley School
